Blowers
Blowers are devices that transport air and are capable to create the overpressure up to 2bar or the vacuum up to -980mbar(rel). By their function they resemble vacuum pumps and compressors, but they create a lower overpressure (vacuum) with a higher air flow rate. The most common types of blowers ale side channel blowers and root blowers.
Side Channel Blowers
Side channel blowers exploit the laminar flow principle. Generally available models have the performance from 0.2kW to 20kW, max. overpressure of +700mbar(rel), vacuum of -500mbar(rel), and flow rate of 19m3/h. A large selection of model ranges made possible fast spreading of these blowers to many applications: aeration in waste water treatment stations, bubble aeration of whirling baths, drying devices, and systems for granulate and powder transport.
Side Channel Blowers
- One-stage side channel blowers use one impeller.
- Two-stage side channel blowers has two impellers connected in series. This allows that the blower with the same engine power can reach the greater overpressure and vacuum, than in the case of one-stage blower.
Main Advantages of Blowers:
- Long lifetime
- Compact design
- Blower rotor operates without contact with a stator
- Oil-free operation
Root Blowers
Root blowers work on the principle of kidney-shaped rotors with little allowable variations. The blowers are being used as booster vacuum pumps in central vacuum systems. The maximum overpressure/ vacuum of 80mbar(rel) and flow rate of 75m3/min. Producers: Busch, Elmo Rietschle, Becker
Sales
In case of interest in blowers, it will be the best if you send us parameters of required device by email. Eventually, you can study our catalogue and order a particular blower type.
Service
VACUUM BOHEMIA ensures a complete customer service of blowers, as well as sales of spare parts, filters, and accessory. Moreover, it carries out a design of central vacuum manifolds using root blowers.
